About Me

Well first things first I best introduce myself, I’m Ellie Robinson.

Of course if you are my mum or a potential employer you may prefer to call me by my ‘proper’ name Eleanor.

I’m a QUT Journalism/Public Relations student in my fourth year of study; living for the day when I move in to a share-house and have the life of a twenty-something year old promised to me by sitcoms like ‘Friends’ and ‘New Girl’.

I’m a creative. My mind works visually, I am old school in my methods. I love nothing more than working on cork boards cutting and pasting images, using my hands and some glue to arrange things. However I come from a family of electronic engineers and I.T teachers so I am fluent in a wide range of programs. And yes, I’m a mac person.

I’m an amateur photographer, or as I like to say a life documenter. My favourite photograph subjects are people as they are constantly changing, ever growing and so expressive.

I’m a deep thinker, often a worrier, and yet a free-spirit. I express myself through music, through writing, blogging and through my visuals. I use the application Instagram often as a visual diary capturing how I felt in a moment.

After seven months exploring Europe in 2012/2013 I am deeply effected by wanderlust and will spend the rest of my life trying to tick off every city on the globe. Ideally I will find a job that will compliment this love of adventure.

I don’t have an ideal company or job in mind. I’m only 21 and still working out who I am, let alone what I want to do but I know I want to a job that allows me to be passionate, creative and maybe even fun sometimes.
